When I volunteered to review this book, I was hoping for some sort of insight into the world of miniature tools. Unfortunately this was not the case. However, it is an enlightening book for the hobbyist.

The plans are straightforward and well laid out. The instructions the same. Basically, this is the book for you if want to challenge yourself with a mini drill. It has projects from buttons to model aircraft, to wooden decorative spoons, and even intarsia (kind of, sort of..)

As usual, I find books from the Guild of Master Craftsman Publications informative, and apparently useful, even if I really will never actually use it in my shop or business. I have offered to lend it to a friend of mine who makes doll house furniture, and I think this is where a book like this will come into its own. It is clear, concise, and enthusiastic about the craft that it teaches.
