This was one of my favorite pieces. To get the door frames of a uniform color and grain, it was necessary to purchase a large walnut timber from a local supplier. Unfortunately, the timber was fresh from the sawmill and very wet. After resawing the parts from the timber, an extra shower stall was converted into a makeshift dry-kiln. Three weeks later the wood was ready for working. I'm finished here.
