With Covid-19 keeping me close to home and not doing much,
I have spent much time in the shop.
Things accomplished, Mini-wallet (Wood Mag) many for Christmas,
puzzle chair for Christmas, some minor repairs to items and now
in the process of cleaning the shop. I should mention I am NOT a neat freak
woodworker so the shop really needs cleaning. This may take a while.
Next will be another puzzle chair for a newborn which will be delivered in 3 to 4 years. (Something to do)
Also waiting on plans and material to help a friend (said I would but don't know what it really is).
I am sure other things will pop up so I am not Bored.

Just posting to keep active.

Duan

ps anyone heard for Dennis.

I've been doing, pretty much, the same thing. Trying to be productive as much as possible. After finishing the potato bi I started making a box out of some beautiful teak I've had for many years. It is quite a project! those who have used teak know...I spend a lot of time sharpening tool  And...wouldn't you know it....as hard as we have tried to practice safe behaviors since January...we all 3 tested positive for covid. I believe I can beat it but it is definitely slowing me down!

Be well,

Don

Duan, The onset of symptoms is flu like with fever managed with tylenol. I have a friend back in San Diego who was treated for covid with chelation vitamin c (50 grams x 2) and recovered. I've tried to find some place around here that does chelation but until I do, I've been taking 1,000 mg vitamin c every hour. This monster makes me very tired but I don't give in to it... I get up and get busy. I believe I can beat it.....stay tuned

Don, so sorry about your covid, hope it passes fast! I guess once it is in your house it’s hard to keep the others who live there from getting it.

Don,
Hoping you are doing okay.
Let us know.

We're okay here so far but it is Houston and no one follows any rules.
Trying to just stay home. Quit going to the gym.
Still have to do Home Depot every now and then. I wear a mask.
Haven't eaten in a restaurant this year but that's okay. I'm married to the worlds greatest cook! :D

Don,
I'm hoping you're still with us also.
Wish there was some way to find out.

Does anyone know his last name? He lives in Mountain City, Texas.
I looked at his profile and sent an email to him asking for news. We'll see what happens.

Well, I haven't heard anything from Don and it's been a couple of weeks. I fear the worst.

No news here. I fear the worse. His last message was ominous.
