I've tried to post more than one picture of the dressers I'm building, but they all come back as being too big. Any ideas?

Resize the picture.
There are any number of ways to do this.
The program I've been using for quite some time is EZThumbs. It is a small ulitily that can perform resizing on a single image or multiple images in a batch.
Also has a number of settings to tweak the image as well. Includes a preview prior to executing.
And ... it's free.
