pests but they can be outrageous and funny. Squirrels are amazingly smart and you can challenge them with food like corn on or off the cob or peanuts. Here are some ideas for feeders to use for ideas or starting points for mazes or obstacle courses.

Squirrels can be creatures of habit so you may be able to train them to stay away from your bird feeders. Around here, corn and peanuts are a lot cheaper than bird food or sunflower seeds

I'll be sure to return to this page once in a while for inspiration. We love watching the squirrels collect the peanuts I scatter on an old stump in the back yard.

I can agree that squirrels are fun to watch BUT, be careful about trying to attract them to your yard. If they find a way (and they surly will) to get into your attic, you can rarely ever get them out. They can cause damage when nesting in the insulation and chewing on wring.
As cute as they are, they can do damage to property and trees if they get over populated in a given area. About every year we loose electric power or cable TV because a squirrel chewed through the insulation on a wire out on the power pole.

They don't last long climbing around transformers, though. Unfortunately, the transformers don't, either.
