Hi, Guys! Just checking in to let you know I'm still above grass. I had my 69th birthday last month. I'm dreading my next one. I'm now working my dream job at Ace Hardware and loving it. The family is all healthy. I still haven't done any woodworking in 5-1/2 years, but I still check the forum every day. It's good to see all of you here

If you're ever travelling on Route 301 through La Plata, Md., stop by the store and visit. I'd love to see you. Take care, and keep making sawdust.

LARRY NORTON: It is really good to see you post here even if it is just a check in. Please let your words come through more often. I think many of us miss the "old timers" that have dropped posting here. There was and is a lot of experience and insight in our members and we need to have more posting to share those qualities.

Hey Larry!
It is good to hear from you.
I'm in the same boat as you with wood working, I gave up about a year ago. I just lost interest and with having COPD was having trouble breathing so it wasn't hard to quit.
I have all of my tools up for sale and will post a list of what I have later.
I will turn 73 in November but, I try real hard to act like I'm 6 years old. I've been told more than once to act my age but, I just tell them that I don't know how because I've never been this old before. :)

Good to hear from you, Larry! I'd be interested to know why you quit working wood!! As I recall you are pretty good at it and have/had a carn fine shop with a PM 66 TS and a Delta D-8 Jointer as well as an assortment of hand planes.

Happy to hear about your 'dream job'

Don
