Francois, I know how you like to see the changing colors of our Hoosier trees, so I took some photos for you today, all within 15 miles of my house and in my own yard.

Thanks Verna,

I like em too!!

We just planted a sugar maple in as a memorial to my Dad.

We shall see if it copes with this climate. I hope it does, but I'm
not putting big money on it.

Autumn foliage Rocks!!! I miss it.

Thanks again,
eric

Great pics!

A treat for eyes here in the currently soggy south.

Francois, the pictures don't show my street!!

I took the pictures out in the country near where I grew up.

The next to last picture is my hard maple tree with the front of my roof in the lower part of the pic.

The last picture is one of the most beautiful maple trees I've ever seen, and it is two yards away from mine. Even though Mrs. Sullivan has been dead for 3 years, I still call it "Mrs. Sullivan's Gold Tree"

Only trees with many leaves left on them here are beech and oak. Pretty much everything else has dropped. Sweeper is installed behind the 4-wheeler, and looking for a dry enough day.

I don't think even a hard maple is a golden as a tamarack.
