When I send an email, it goes to my Outbox and stays there. I don't remember doing anything, but I could have. I have Outlook Express.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Any chance your settings are to send only when closing outlook? Or do they stay there when you come back in? Try the send recieve button, if it doesn't send it shoudl give you an error message- just click the details button. Any questions let me know, and I will try to help you though.

You mean like this?

Mailbox renaming deletes messages: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7582_102-0.html?threadID=355829&tag=forums06;forum-threads

Or this?

MAIL program not storing SENT messages http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7582_102-0.html?threadID=355076&tag=forums06;forum-threads

Or this?

Freezing in Mail OS 10.4.11 http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7582_102-0.html?threadID=356421&tag=forums06;forum-threads

Didn't look real hard. These are just a few problems on the "MacFixIt Forum" over the last several days.

Larry, does this happen all of the time or just some of the time?

I see that problem every now and then - but it is always temporary. I think it is some issues handshaking with the server. It eventually goes away.

I use Outlook 2003.

I assume you tried the re-boot before sending again. It would be helpful to know if it is periodic or consistent.

Well, I think I fixed the problem. I had forwarded some emails from Liz's Verizon account to her Gmail, and the first one didn't go for some reason. I deleted it, and now everything works fine.

Thanks for the help, Guys!
