Actually recoil is quite mild for a 12gauge, even with 1 1/4 Oz slugs. Much less than my Mossberg 590 pump. The weight, gas system, muzzle brake, and aftermarket butt pad reduce recoil quite a bit, and due to the barrel being in the same plane as the buttstock there is very little muzzle rise and it's well balanced. The only real downside is the trigger, because of the linkage required for a bullpup configuration. It's not bad, considering, but it's not a competition 2lb trigger either.

It breaks down easily for maintenance also.

If you're interested in getting one, they're about $1300 bare bones these days. But they are not legal in some States.
