I was watching you tube and as normal i fell asleep took a nap and woke up and this was on.

This couple is amazing, building their home in the Canadian back country using nothing but hand tools including cutting the trees down

Some people can do it, some like myself need power tools to get the job done!

If I were younger Id like to do something like that. But now I doubt if I could swing a ax

One of my brother in laws has a collection of hand tools from way way back.

Hand planes for special uses to hand planes with different bits like our modern routers.

Ship builders adze, axes, auger bits that were huge for ships.
foot powered jigsaws scroll saws band saws.

a special plane that makes kindling so you can start your wood stoves. blocks of wood made specifically for it were delivered to your home with the firewood.

a huge old saw used for cutting what we now call old growth trees.
