A friend of mine is moving away to another country sad for me bc I dont have a lot of friends here in Az only been here going on 3 years. So he axed me if I wanted some wood.

I said sure what self respecting woodworker wouldnt. But I was amazed at what he had stashed in his garage.

I got a lot of walnut, cherry and some live edge slabs and well a lot of different species but as i said mostly walnut and cherry which im going to make a nice coffee table out of.

photos maybe a bit dark as well its hot here 107 today so I waited for it to cool down a tad to unload the truck

Ill wait for the temp to cool before i get in there and start putting the wood up and get the project started

Good haul. Friends like that are hard come by.

Gonna make a big coffee table out the walnut and cherry and then se what i got to make mamma a table for her sewing machine. I think I know where Im going to store this stuff

I checked; I am okay ,The 10th commandment does no mention coveting they neighbors wood stash.
