I was on facebook saw some add about getting solar filled out the form got a bunch of phone calls from solar companies, set up a couple of appts, now I tried to cancel them, I got 2 cancelled.. Text one guy hope he gets it called another one and have one more to go

My son sells solar systems to business's that use a lot of electricity. If you ask about cost of a system for your house, he will ask what your monthly bill is. Most houses don't use enough kilowatts to make a system pay. Many sellers do not sell you a system, they lease the equipment to you, they own it, take the money generated by the solar panel, take some of that for themselves plus your payment of the lease. Great "deal" for them. SCAM. There may be others, scams!!!
An honest dealer will use the kilowatt use from your past usage, a years worth? which will show how long it will take to pay for equipment. Where you live will effect solar strength also, dealer should also have that data. Some places have lots of clouds, shorter day light time etc.

Sad fact there are always people out to "high pressure" others into poor deals just for money. Honesty and repeat business has fallen by the wayside with online advertising providing an unlimited supply of potential customers.

My wife checked online as well gave my cell number.. skipping a lot of details. I asked, so how much are the points we will have to pay. ..? oh its in the payment you do not pay separate, not what I asked, how much are the points ? dont worry included in the monthly payment not separate. I replied I am going to ask this final time. how much are the points we will pay for this loan?.... I dont know. but it will be good price. I ended up having to block 5 numbers.

So I cancelled the appts I wouldnt give the a chance to talk me out of it.

Even though the service I called claimed they would only give my. info out to 4 dealers (whose appts I cancelled),

ive been getting inundated with called from dealers all over the country, at least 4 a day maybe more

So I just answer the phone dont say anything and hang up them block their number.

These solar companies remind me of time share salesmen.

its friggin insane.

I get 2 or 3 a day from some outfit peddling some form of medicare or other. I now have a phone that identifies the caller, so just never answer it. A LOT of calls the fancy thing identifies as "Spam" and others have the city at least so never answer them.

mines just says caller unknown. Unless I know who it is I dont answer. It does give me where the call is from like Dallas Tx. So I dont answer and figure if its important theyll leave a message, no message the get blocked

Got a call from a unknown at 0700 this morning

starting early today but then it is friday

When I get calls from unwanted sales people asking to speak to me, I tell them "He isn't due to get out of prison for six months. "

gotta remember that one
