I finally got some new glasses after the catarack surgery. I was hoping to get back into the shop for some light work. However the new glasses do not allow me to see as well as before the surgery.The perscription is only for nearsighted/farsighted. It does not address the astigmatism that I have. IT will be at least another month before I can get an apointment with the eye doctor that I got my glasses from for over twenty years since he is on vacation. So I am still not able to see well enough to work accurately or even read a newspaper.I am beginning to wonder if I will live long enough to get back to woodworking ,much less gunsmithing and shooting.
