I thought I would not be doing any more until I had the cataracs removed. next month, but at the pre op they did an EKG and said they would not operate until the heart beat stabelised. The doctor is now talking about putting in a pace maker, so it is going to be quite a while. I can't see to read a tape measure or fit parts anymore.

Ron, you might want to dicuss your "Repeating" thing with your Doc too. (Just kidding)

Don, I hope you get both your heart and your eye problems taken care of ASAP.

Funny you mention heart and other medical procedures. Last week I was at a Gastroenterologist for some abdominal pain I have been having. Because I have heart issues and occasional angina he said he would not do a endoscapy like he usually would. He opted for a CT scan which sounds like perhaps less conclusive results. Getting old is complicated! :)

Ron you can edit and delete that way. I have had to do it more than once. They put me on a heart monitor today which I will wear for 24 hours and then they will read the results. I have discovered that the medicene they put me on two moths ago reacts with the allergy injections I get which can cause erratic heart beats. This morning I got up early while the ground was still frozen and brought in a load of fire wood from a tree that had fallen into the field. I believe that if loading some of the larger pieces did not do me in, there is nothing serious wrong with the heart.

Don, please be careful. Loading firewood without pain is not a replacement for modern cardiology testing.

Still waiting for the results from the heart monitor. I have been cleaning corners of the shop where odd pieces tend to pile up waiting for a need for them.

The heart doctor finally checked the heart monitor and cleared me for surgery. Next week I'll have the first eye done, then in three weeks the second one.. So as Tex Rhitter said" A tree doesn't fall on me, I'll live till I die!"
