Well I cut some dead ash tree tops and now am waiting for a kid from our church to help me put them in the wood shed. Cutting and splitting the wood is noi problem, picking it up is a prob;em. The tree tops were on a friends property about four mile from home ,so I cut and split it and hauled it home with his dump trailer, now I have to pick it up and put it in the wood shed.

I've found it warms you WAY more than twice:

Once when you cut it,
Once when you split it,
Once when you haul it to the shed,
Once when you stack it,
Once when you haul it inside the house,
Once when you burn it,
And finally, once when you clean the chimney....
