Last fall I ordered a through the wall propane furnace for the work shop. After five months of delays it was shipped to Indiana and then rerouted back to California . So I order from another supplier and got it in late march. But the local propane supplier had no tanks available and since winter was over I told him to wait until they got in a used one. Last week they delivered a tank and hooked it up. I fired up the furnace just long enough to make sure every thing was working. So if my supply of free fire wood gives out I am ready. I've heated the work shop and house for over forty years with wood, but now as I get older and my supply of free wood is questionable I decided to install propane. I don't know when I will need it but at least now I know that I am ready.

You wouldn't need it here for several months at least. It's running 90s and upper 60 at night here for the last months with no change in sight. Pheww!! need some rain also a total of 0.37 for the month.

I don't know when I will need it. I filled the wood shed saturday and today with some dead ash trees. The emeral ash borer has given people in our area all the dead trees we need for several years. But with knee surgery coming up it is nice to know the wife will not have to go out to the shop to build a fire.
