I have collected old rusty stuff for most of my life.
It has hung on my back fence for decades.
I recently pulled some of it off the fence, cleaned the rust off and made a pair of gates. They are double gates that swing like saloon doors.
They weigh around 200 lbs. are 48" tall and 44" wide.
They are in a garden path in my back yard.
They turned out pretty cool.

Thanks Paul,
I'm actually not sure how much talent is involved.
I laid a bunch of junk out and welded it together.
It looks cool though. :-D

That is just TOO danged Kool! You are a creative soul if ever I saw one! I love old stuff like that but it keeps rusting while I'm loving it...I need to use some of your inspiration and create a better way to appreciate it. That gate is a treasure!! Great work!
