As the title notes I have not posted in a while, not for lack of wanting to but the fact that I had nothing to post. I had nothing to post because I have been unable to make anything. For several years I have been I have been nursing my right shoulder because it got wrecked about 15 years ago and fixed but it was never really right again and it only got worse. Having had surgery on it once I did never wanted to do it again, but it kept screaming at me and finally I listened and had a complete shoulder reversal replacement on May 16th.

Still on the mend but it is starting to feel better than it has in a long time. Have been doing the therapy thing since two weeks after the surgery and movement is getting better, pain is getting less, hoping to get back 75-80 % movement which I have not had for years and my therapist thinks that is an achievable goal.

So hopefully I will get into the shop sometime in the next few months and be able to make something.

Paul,
Welcome back.
Therapy works! Keep it up.
No pain, no gain and all that stuff.

Let us hear how you do.

Glad you're posting, Paul. We've all had periods off while healing. Hope all gets better fast. I had an old injury, crushed heal from fall from scaffold in 1974...they said I'd have to walk with a brace from then on....No Way...I just walked it out...took a few years to get to where there was no pain...then about 2 years ago (43 years after fall) it raised it's ugly head and went OUT....doc put an orthopedic insert in my shoe and I've been walking with pain...but I found CBD oil mitigates considerably. That stuff really works for pain...I just rub it on the injury morning & night and am very active...if you've noticed my posts you'll see that I've been very busy for the past year.
Good to have you back, Paul! Let's see some craftsmanship! Have you noticed Larry is back?? AND he is knocking em dead with his website!

Glad you are back, I have had some joint work and i find the therapy is just as important if not more so than the procedure. Keep working hard on the therapy and good luck!

Hey, Paul! Welcome back, Buddy! I had surgery on my neck in August and it's no better. I also have a torn rotator cuff in my other shoulder. I, too, have been in physical therapy for quite a while. But I keep going. I can't stop, I have too many orders left! By the way, here's my website in case you can't find it.

www.woodnwings.net

Take care, Buddy! We have to keep this forum going because of all the friends we've made. And Thanks, Don!
