well thats a tough one for me I buystuff ll year long so I give to the kids wife mostly. This year festool is having a recondition tool sale. So I bit the bullet and bought a reconditioned sander ETS 150E. Its their finish sander to use with the higher grits of sand paper. I dont realy have a true RO sander so I thought why the heck not.

So what do you want waiting under your tree Xmas morning

I don't really need any new tools. My Dewalt 13 in. planer gave up the ghost last week so I had to buy a new one. I had 5 new sets of blades for the old one, so I bought another one just like it. I'm still finding tools that I didn't know I had, after spending 5 years away from woodworking.

Money. Everyone likes it, no worries about shipping costs, and people can get what they want instead of something that will end up in a box in the garage. :D

I gave my wife a real money tree for Xmas a few years ago. A small table top fake tree that I loaded up with $20's. She loved it. :D

I page through the latest Lee Valley catalog, go to their site and add stuff to my wish list. Lots of little stuff the kids can easily afford and that I'll put to good use. Some day (grin).

I got changed out my stationary tools and bought festools. When i was going through all my stuff, man I spent alot of money for tools I didnt know I had and never used. Now my shop is lean and mean. The only stationary tool I got now is a 6" Jet jointer.

Oh my delta 13" planer gave up the ghost so I picked up a Makita. Love that thing.

Glad to have ya back Larry.....

Maybe we can start up the thursday night chats again. That would be cool
