Anyone know whats up with the New Yankee Workshop
It seems to be stuck in time for the last 6-8 weeks.
No new episode's for at least that long.
I know that they are not doing new ones but I do enjoy
the older ones as I usually learn at least a little something from each.

Thanks
Duan

A new episode was posted today.,
A chest on chest.

Although I had seen it before I enjoyed the show
and was reminded of some techniques.

CLIPPER: A question of curiosity. Where do you see the NEW YANKEE WORKSHOP? My local PBS stations don’t carry it. Do you go to the NYW site or YOU TUBE or? I think it would be a really good thing for NYW to return to the air in re-runs. The show has been off of broadcast channels for so many years that a whole new generation of potential woodworkers could be inspired as many of us were. The differences in machinery from then to now shouldn’t be a problem because the techniques of use are still the same in general.

I go to http://www.newyankee.com/index.php and view it there.
It is online so it is convenient.

As I said I still enjoy the program esp. since I can choose the time.

Hey Duan,

I gotta say, that the best woodworker that I've met in Hawaii wore nothing more than a kapa loincloth and used only tools that he had made himself. That said, kapa does feel sort of like flannel, but the print was nothing like plaid.

Cheers,
Tom
