Just returned from five days camping and fishing at Mustang Island and Goose Island. Both are within an hour of Corpus Christi.
Had a great time!
Caught fish!
Ate fish!
Saw a thousand year old oak tree!

Thought you might like to see some pictures.

That redfish is the Perfect size....very good eating...and those flounder make my mouth water....Haven't had flounder since I left Texas in '87.....halibut is good but not nearly as sweet as flounder!
Thanks for sharing....I REALLY appreciate it.

We are really big fishermen! My lovely Wife lives to fish! How cool is that?

Today was fresh water bass fishing. We caught 13. Three of them were around 3 lbs. each. Wife caught two of those.
It was a little chilly on the water at dawn but warmed up to 80.

Lake Fayetteville, Texas.
