I save the link for a photo to email. But when I email it to myself I get the pic, but also access to my entire photoshop account. I only want to send photos, not give people full access. Same thing happened last time I posted on WWA.

Is there something I'm not getting here?

Hey Ron,

Are you sending an image link, or a link to the album? You can make a particular album private by editing the settings in the "More" button.

I'm trying to send an image only, but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong?

Ron, click on the photo, then when the photo is enlarged, look over to the right. There are 4 selections. Put your cursor over the option that says IMG, click on it. You'll see that it says copied. Come back to WWA, put your cursor where you want the photo to appear, and right click, select paste, and the IMG with the photo's IMG info will appear. Click on preview (look at the bottom of this box) and your photo should appear--this is just a check to make sure you did it right. Then click on Submit and your post will be there with the photo.

Verna. When I click on your photo I can go forward or back in your album(previous or next). I am having the same problem.

By the way, Hi. I haven't been doing much but do check in every now and then.

Photobucket allows the account owner to restrict access to folders at their discretion. So apparently she has not "privatized" some or any of her folders. I use photobucket quite a lot, and some folders I leave public and some not. The ones that are not public a visitor won't even know they exist. For example, if you click on my Photobucket link in my sig line below, it will take you to my account, where you will see 3 folders. There are several other folders that you won't see. :)

Bill and Gene, I just went through all of my photos on Photobucket. I actually left most of them public, but chose to make some of them private (such as showing the front of the house). I've never really put anything on Photobucket that I minded sharing....I've been careful with that.

So, thanks for the reminder.

And, by the way, if you have a Smartphone (iPhone or whatever), and if you get the Photobucket App, it automatically downloads your photos from your Smartphone to Photobucket on the PC and on the Smartphone. I haven't found the setting to stop that. But, this is one of the albums that is private, and will remain private. If I choose to copy one of the photos to a public folder, that one copy will be public, but the original will be private.

Verna, I have a droid Samsung s4 and was able to stop them from automatically uploading to photoshop. If you need to know that, I'll try to find out what I did. Wasn't hard if I was able to do it.

Thanks, Bill. I just found "Auto Backup"--that's what's causing Photobucket Mobile to automatically move my iPhone pics to Photobucket. As soon as this last update is finished (I hesitate it stop it in the middle of an upload), I'll turn the "Auto Backup" off.

And, "Auto Backup" is hidden behind two menu's.....not really easy to find.
