Note there is no hardware pulls. Gotta stick your fingers in the cats mouth. :-D

Lot of interesting furniture and other stuff here from a local estate.

The baby cradles are fabulous loved the ducks neck and bill, and the carvings all could be an inspiration to LAWRENCE for his machines. Truely some unique and fascinating items.

Well come on down! You've got till the 21st April. :D And if not that, maybe you could upload some of the pics into your software. :)

PS: Just out of curiosity, what is the process for creating a pattern from an original? I have access to a lot of old carved stuff like this - including a few that I own. Maybe I could help out?

there are a couple of ways to make a pattern from an original carving-- one is that if the piece is small enough (or broken off) you can put it into the machine and make direct copy using the probe

Another is to put putty on the carve and create a negative relief-- you can then make a plaster copy, probe that, and then carve it

another method is to use a camera and a program called 123d - (I've been playing with this)

you then import the file into your machine and carve it

I guess what I mean to say is-- there are a few ways to skin this cat (pun intended pointing to the desk)

Is anyone else picturing Gene getting busted in this auction house with several pounds of putty ??? But, officer, I was just sticking it all over the carvings for a friend !!! :D :D
