On the news now. Presser coming up. Both crew ejected at low altitude/approach speed, flame out or stall suspected. Plane crashed into apartment buildings about 2 miles N.E. from runway.

One of the pilots said to a resident, "sorry I destroyed your home" or something to that effect.
Terrible accident, as of my 6PM news, still no fatalities. Keeping my fingers crossed and prayers sent to those that lived there.

Out of envelope ejection from delay in decision accounts for a lot of fatalities. Any which might have happened on the ground would not have been avoided by adding one to the death toll.

Dangerous business, flying. Especially when you don't have the airspeed to exchange for altitude.
