The hand is good enough to start the small pruning pole saw so today I started to prune the apple trees ( I know they should have been pruned two months ago , but the hand wasn't up to it. ) I wasted five hours with my Polun pole saw which stalls out as soon as you lift the saw end higher than the engine. When the wife got home with the check book I went to town and bought a Sthil. I got more cut in ten minutes cutting time with the sthil than five hours with the polun. Now I just have to explain why I spent more for a small pruning saw than I did for my large saw I use to cut firewood which saves us a coup[le of thousand every year on the heat bill. Since I heat both the shop and house entirely with wood.
