I am trying to send a PM and all its doing is sitting in my "out box".
WHY??

I seem to have much trouble with the PM sending some never get received and others just disappear

Some help please, I must not understand how to do it.

Duane and others,

Here is the way the PM system works:

After you have typed your message and "sent" it to the person, the message goes into your "OUTBOX".

There it will sit until the person you sent it to picks it up. They were notified by e-mail that they had a new message.

When picked up by the person, the message goes into your "SENT" box. Note it only goes there AFTER the person has picked up the message. This is how you know the message has been picked up.

How do you know which box you are looking at? If you notice the various boxes are under scored, like this - OUTBOX. The box you are currently looking in is NOT underscored.

One question for you Duane, how full are your various PM boxes? Do you need to clean up some of the older PMs? This could cause some of the problems you are seeing.

I hope I haven't confused anyone with this tutorial.

Nope no confusion just a good education.

And my various boxes are almost empty. It was the sent-pickup thing that I did not understand.

Thanks

Duan
