Got up to 51 degrees here in Linwood today, and rained all day. Melted a lot of Ice and Snow, down to almost nothin. .
Who else got high on this 25th day of January, 2010???

We are having a blizzard, all day today until 3 am in the morning, this weekend we melted some snow here with rain, and the middle of last week got clobbered just south of here with an ice storm, some are still without lights.
They reported that this supposedly has been so far the worst winter on record for snow fall and cold==yeah.
Winds are topping 50 mph and with about 5 inches of fresh snow on top of the iced down drifts from the rain over the weekend it is really interesting, neither state nor county plows have been out.
The winds were forcast, the snow was not, it was supposed to be 1/2 inch or less:(

We had a great week last week (upper 40's- low 50's) but, this week is a little weak!
Yesterday the high was 33 or so and the wind was 50 MPH and today isn't much better yet....28 degrees at 10:15 AM and the wind is down so far.

Hey Folks,

We're having an El Nino year here, with temps in the mid 50's. The folks next door, in B.C. are getting nervous about the Winter Olympics that are scheduled to start next month. They've had to truck in, and in some cases airlift, snow onto the ski runs. It's going to be interesting to see if they can pull it off.
