I've been screwing with my snowblower for the last two days  as you read on my other post. Had the bowl off, did the carb cleaner bit, even had it running for a good amount of time. Previously when took the bowl off I saw a few pieces of dirt in the bowl and removed them. What I didn't know was that the screw that holds the bowl in ALSO has jets in It. When I took it out again I saw a piece of dirt in between the two jets and blew it out with gumout.

10 minutes later (after two days of trying LOL) it's running like a champ! :-D :-D

Thanks for all the advice gang!

Actually, all the shoveling has been done, but this saves me from taking it to get fixed and it's ready for the next storm. :)

I'm glad I spent the time, besides having the problem solved, I learned something about how this thing works for future knowledge.

Good to hear. I suppose this is a pretty small unit, as a 2-stroke, but it beats tearing up the back.

Future reference, running any machine dry without first draining downward sucks whatever dirt was there into places not designed to accommodate it. I ran my chainsaw dry once 20 years or so ago and ran all the way to the rubber flap and one saturated shaving in the carb before I fixed it. Fortunately it was July, when I had time to troubleshoot, not October. When my weed-whacker developed the same symptoms, I found that grass clippings will do the same as wood.
