And as I look outside, right now. I need to cut the grass, for the last time, untill about March. Been putting it off, and it's about 8 inches high, over the drain field. Big difference a few hundred miles ( as the crow flies ) makes.

Larry...bought mine 2 or 3 years ago on a great sale at HD. Didn't need it last year but has paid for itself this weekend. It helped 2 or 3 other neighbors. I figure even with a small driveway, it's better for my body than a lot of shoveling.

Jeremy....same problem here; I have choc. lab and she is having a fit finding her "spot"

i know i shouldnt feel this way but maybe its the way i am.... If "I" had a snowblower and finished my drive i would walk it up to my neighbors and do his 100' plus of sidewalks and help w/ his driveway... Now i am not being selfish i dont Expect people to just help me but what i am saying if it were the other way around my neighbors wouldnt have to ask at all i would just do it.

PS. SHOVELING SUCKS!

I did mine, my neighbors, friend down the street, My other neighbor (he has to be 75), my brothers, his nieghbors and an old friend of my mothers (she around 80).

No two ways about it, I'm tired.

Got a tin of cookies out of it though. :D

Easy going where I am. The neighbor has a bobcat that he used to plow the roads in the neighborhood. Someone else came by with a 4-wheeler with a plow and helped clear things up.

Had to shovel the deck which turned into a snow fight with my nieces. Also went out sledding at someone else's house. Good time, but the temperature dropped below freezing while we were out and the road got bad on the way back.

My neighbor asked if her kids could slide down our hill. Liz came down to the shop a few min. later and said that Bryan was shovelling the driveway. I went out with a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies and $20. He took the cookies but refused the $20. I guess it pays to be 62.

I know what you mean. I was out on my tractor clearing the parking area when my neighbor (who has a bigger tractor) came over and started plowing the driveway. We'll pay him in cookies too. :)
