I can't wait for the 26th, and the world goes back to normal.

I'm kind of dreading the 26th. That's the day I have to pick up the U-Haul truck and trailer, and load up. Then a 4 hour drive after working all day. :(

I usually shop on the 24th after work for Joy, my wife, and my daughter as I'm after usually after Christmas Flannel pj's and jewelry. Usually, it's not as crowded as you might think - last year I pretty much had the JC Penny's store to myself.

Sure is nice that Joy does all of the other Christmas shopping for us except for my buddy Dave - I usually get him fishing stuff (again this year) - got my Son some fishing stuff when I got Dave's - I spent some time fixing up a couple of plastic container boxes with a few lures and some leaders (I tied) for them. The grandson's fishing boxes are all pretty well stocked this year so I guess they just get toys 'n stuff this year (set them up with new tackle boxes (etc) last year).

yep, just pj's and jewelry and I'm all done shopping.

Presents all bought and wrapped (except a few last minute amazon.com buys that will arrive christmas eve if for no other reason than to tip the UPS lady... she's been busy for us lately and does a great job)

It's so nice to be home this year

Yep do my shopping tomorrow. I like doing last minute shopping, it makes decisions so much easier. An example- If I want to by LOML a sweater, I find the right size and there may only be 2 colors left to choose from. Much easier than choosing from 20 options :D
