Good news is that I truly outdid myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.

Verna,

This is a great story too bad it has to come down. Some people just can't take a joke. I'm still laughing.......

Thanks,
Carlos

Only you, Verna! Only you!

Maybe you should make a little elf to hang up there. Then hopefully the passers by would get the joke.

That is one funny idea there friend

Sorry you had to take it down.

Verna,

I had to show this to my wife Ellin. She laughed out loud then said two things:

1. I'm not surprised that Verna would think of something like that.
2. I'm not surprised that they made her take it down.

Very, very funny!

If I would have seen the picture first I would have been asking why you would let Chance get him self into that mess :D . It is really funny, that would be just great watching the cars go by.

Now if you could ony get his legs to move !!! That would be the greatest. Then dress him up as SANTA!! :D The poor passing kids would be terrified! Maybe you can get some reindeer and put them up on the roof withe the Sleigh hanging from the edge with presents spilling out of the back.

PS my wife and I LOVED it i was laughing outloud picturing someone getting the ladder and climbing after the dummy... You know you missed a perfect oppurtunity to win 10,000 dollars....video tape it and send it in to Americas Funniest videos...

Way to cool, would you mind if I tried that idea sometime? So what inspired this decoration, close call or just great imagination?

Ahhhhh......I received this as an e-mail......I just copied and pasted the e-mail to this thread. I didn't figure you guys would believe that I had really done the "decorating".

I sure wish I had thought of it first.....I've figured out how I could do this on my single-story ranch home.....but I'd have to buy some outdoor lights

So, thanks guys for the votes for my humor, be it sick, twisted, dark or hilarious

And, Bruce, since the picture is all over the Internet, go for it, do your decorating and post your real picture :D :D
