Thanks for all the good wishes guys. 8) I actually had forgotten that this was the day. :o
At this age, itjustdontmatteranymore. :D
Goodoldwhatshername is at work, I just got rid of my latest project, (the "Long story"cedar chest) the sun is shinnin', I'm kicked back watching the clock tick and life couldn't be better. 8)
I guess Goodoldwhatshername and the local kids will take me out to dinner tonight. I don't expect any new toys or anything. I have everything I need and most of what I want, so that is that. :)
The kids from the "Little Apple" are comming tomrrow for turkeyday and the rest of the weekend so I guess the sawdust will just have to settle on the floor in the shop. :-D

Well, Goodoldwhatshername got me a new pair of Lee jeans and a sports shirt. The daughter and son-in-law got me a "neo-modern" oil painting for the living room wall. Two of the grand kids each got me a large Snickers bar. (the Snickers are in the freezer right now) But, Bills gift is yet to arrive, but I'm sure it will be expensive and fit in my shop just fine. :D

Rog

OOPPPSSSS  , Guess I owe Bro. Bill an "I sorry!!"
He did give me something yesterday.....Good advice! :-D
He called to wish me a Happy B. D., and as usual we started talking W. W. tools. :D
I have been thinking about an oscillating spindle sander for a few weeks and he said that he had been looking at the Ridgid 4424 for himself. They had them at H.D. he said.
I don't usually go to H.D. but, this A.M., I desided to take a look-see. Yep, they had one in stock!! At the Ridgid list price too!! ($199.00) AND.....There was a sign out front something to the effect "$25.00 off any purchase for signing up for a H.D. credit card!!" 8) 8) 8)
I'm not a credit card kind of guy, buuutttt, for $25.00 off of a $200.00 purchase.....WHAT THE HAY!! :D :D I'll do anything twice!!!
So, I bought myself a Birthday present!!!! :D and put it on my brand new credit card! :D (that I plan on using for a glue spreader when it gets here)
Do I really have to post a picture of it???? I'll do a quick review tomrrow OK?
