LOML and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary today! It been a very good ride so far, and we're looking forward to even more in the future.

While it's not exactly how we we planned to celebrate our anniversary tonight, we're having my daughter, SIL (home on leave for 2 weeks) and grandson over for dinner. We'll do the "dinner out" on Friday. Not very romantic, but we're looking forward to seeing them. We haven't seen them since my youngest got married in June 2008. He's got to fly out on Sunday to go back. :(

Congrats to you both, having your family around is really one of your greatest accomplishment of those 25 years isn't it???? Well, see all better now :D

More romantic than the last several years at our house--November 11th, Duane is always in Indiana deer hunting with his brother :D

Well John - congrats to you and your bride. It's a wonderful milestone to achieve and a great example to younger couples.

Had a great time last night. Not only did we have my daughter, SIL and grandson there for dinner, but my youngest and her hubby came down too. It was about a 3 hour round trip for them and he had to get up between 3:30 and 4:00 (AM that is) to go to work. It was a definite effort on their part to be there.

So, overall I believe this will be a much more memorable anniversary dinner than if I had taken Nancy out to a fancy restaurant to celebrate. We'll get to that sooner or later. :D
