Driving down my road this evening and drove past this a few yards from my house. The driver of the upturned vehicle... what had been a really nice Mercedes Coupe... was 'off his face' so bystanders reported... whether drugs or drink or both I have no idea. The incredible thing is that he did this driving up the hill turning out of a side turning only 35 - 40 yards from the impact site  When you see what he did to the lamp post

The scary thing is that I drove down the hill probably two minutes after it happened... if I'd been just a touch earlier.....

Timing is everything Ray! Congrats on yours!

The world has always been a dangerous place, and it does not seem to discriminate too much along the lines of race creed and nation.

Natural and other disasters are every where.

Some times it just comes down to what is left at the end of the day.

Still fate favors the prepared!!

Bottled stupidity is what we used to call it. Some didn't feel "good" enough with just ethanol, so more complicated chemistry came into play. One of the things I really miss is getting up in the middle of the night and rushing out to have one of them bellyache about how long it took to respond, then attempt to fill my jacket with their last snack.

I'm sure that the posts there are engineered, as here, to deform or break away rather than slice through the vehicle.
