Prompted by the lack of pics lately, and Francois's post about an old wooden boat, I had to show this beauty again. I think I have posted it before.

It is also oak framed and mahogany planked. Built in 1938. The original 8' dory styled dinghy which rested on top of the after cabin top is being towed in this photo. The original single gas engine was replaced with a diesel. It is still one of the most beautiful boats I have seen. Competent and seaworthy with 50' length, 10' beam, it took our family on a three month long trip to Alaska in 1982.

What nice lines does she have.A beauty to say the least. The varnish work and the paintwork looks awesome.

Thanks Jess and I am sure that trip back was unforgetable.

Have Fun
Francois

What a beautiful piece of work. It must have been a privilege to sail on her.

I think if our son Chris was on that one he'd be arrested for excessive drooling and fondling of the wood.
