I can rember as a kid that we had dust storms in Kansas but, never anything that bad!!
It has been so wet here for the last several years that dust storms are almost unheard of these days. We do get the winds but, the dust has settled down for the most part.
Wonder how eric is doing? Chime in here son and tell us all about it. :D

Tom,

Eric posted a few days ago, they are on holiday. I think he said up the eastern coast of Australia at Port Stephens.

That storm was freaky looking!

Yup,we arrived in Port Stephens on Tuesday Afternoon. Woke up wednesday to a very strange phenomena. It was very thick here with limited visibility, and blowing a gale.

Still we had a fun day poking around the joint, and yesterday went boogie boarding at the beach (where else eh?) and today are going to hike up to a look out over the coast, should be fun.

Tomorrow I have heard they are predicting more dust, we shall see.

So far a great holiday.
