Hey Folks,

I think that three pies in as many weeks is probably enough, and since third time's a charm, this looks to be the last of the season. This one is all Washington crop Gravensteins, so I have a good feeling about this one. It's the only one that I have enough confidence in to share with a friend of mine who's a professional gormet chef. Unfortunately, he's too polite to give me a frank opinion, so I'll have to pay particular attention to his expression when he tastes it.

Tom:

That's a work of art - and I bet it tastes great too. That's one thing I miss living in Florida - apple season and going to the cider mill.

Tom, is there any of the pie left? I bet it was really yummy! The apple decoration is really cool.

Shoot - call us over and we'll give you an unbiased opinion. Maybe if there is more than one piece involved we'll do a quality control check for you!

Here's a challenge - make your next one in the shape of a recurve
laminated bow! Fire away.
