Does anyone have any idea what this is? It was found in an old farm field and dug up with a backhoe. It is galvanized and has no moving parts..
Found outside the Austin, Texas area.

It appears that it is an "upright piano action bracket" And it is nickel plated not galvanized. I have this on good authority from a piano tuner.
