is good but sharper is better, go here. The safest and most efficient edges are sharp so it's reasonable, to me, that an even sharper edge..... you get the picture. So to get there try this idea.

There is an idea out there that the degree of sharp decreases with each cut. I believe that is true. Starting sharper gives more cuts before attention to edge is needed.
