That needs skinnin? Have you got any old saw blades just hang’n around.? Need a paddle you’re up a creek without? Here’s a project to take care of those items and more.

Fascinating! I've used old broken bandsaw blades (like 1") to make parting tools and other stuff for the lathe. It's to the point, though, where I've got too much stuff I'm saving for projects I'll proberly never get a round tooit to complete. There's always tomorrow! (grin)

I need a dado plane and am using an old plywood blade to make them.

A section with a tooth from an old carbide blade makes a good thin parting tool.
