up process is dealing with the squeeze out. Squeeze out is not a bad thing. It is a prime indicator that the adhesive has completely coated the joint and that the joint has been drawn up evenly and consistently throughout. TOM CASPER has some tips on cleaning up squeezeout here.

I’ve wondered many times about taking an old, abused chisel and bending the shank up for better hand clearance to use as a glue scraper. Just never got the roundtoit time but someday....... :roll:
