scruffy sorta like just waking up and needing a shave for three days and in desperate need for a nice hot cuppa. Nonetheless, it's effective and reasonably easy to make as an add on to a small bench. Not everything needs to be picture perfect and ready for ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST or even FINE WOODWORKING and this isn't.

Think cosmetic joinery and select workpieces. Then this project might look a little better :wink:

Clever! I've re-used the (often) acme threaded screws from old clamps for a variety of other uses. My motto: Never throw it away, you'll need it tomorrow!
