so a little extra care is needed in handling but the rewards of making your project unique are worth it. Stringing adds detail when the display space really isn't all that large. A table leg, the edge of a shelf, a corner of a box top are all places where stringing will add definition, unique detail and draw attention to a rather bland expanse of plain ole wood grain without aggressively grabbing the spotlight. Time, attention to detail and technique as well as practice practice practice will get this into your repertoire.
Rounders can use stringing too to add an unusual  twist to their work. Here is a two part article with really good detail on the art/technique of stringing.
