Woodshop News -

Studio or shop?:

http://blog.woodshopnews.com/tbaw/?p=200

For me it is and always will be "My Shop". I don't turn out stuff fancy enough to call it "My Studio"!

Random stuff ā€™nā€™ things:

Well, Chuck and AJ, I do have a Skil Saw!!! Before that a Craftsman and even before that a Black and Decker.

Now, when the Craftsman quit on me, I went to Sears because they had such a great selection. I went from circular saw to circular saw trying out the switches. Skil Saw is the only one of about 10 they had that I could actually have my finger on the on/off trigger and still touch the thumb switch to turn it on. Yes, my smaller hands need the switches to be closer to make sure the saw is safe for me.

Evan as a scrollsawer, there can be too much scrap. But, it burns well in Chance's fire pit for his annual end of summer birthday party bash:wink:
