I get a little nervous about carbide in connection with BS blades. Carbide is very brittle, and a BS blade is constantly flexing as it goes around the wheels which is why I've never been convinced I should spend the extra bucks on one. Totally different environment than a TS blade.

The vise they show in another of the quick vids looks like it could be a real solution for adding an end vise to an existing bench. I got a kick from the comment by the narrator of the vice video about the OSHA approved footwear :roll:
