NOT FORGOTTEN!!!

Well yes and no. http://www.odditycentral.com/news/these ... -year.html

http://scienceline.org/2014/01/floridas ... mangroves/

When I first saw " walking tree" I was looking at the 2017 OLD FARMERS ALMANAC and saw the article about the Mangrove tree and particularly the red mangrove which the article called the walking tree. Then just looking for references to " walking tree" the URL above and some others came to view.

Sooo there is/are trees commonly referred to as walking trees. They typically are tropical trees, and I haven't found any reference to them being a viable woodworking lumber source, however I think that some of their wood might be used by someone for a project.

To DENNIS S, DADDY GLOVES and ERIC. Thanks for your responses and your patience waiting for an answer. To those who read but didn't leave a response or a guess or an opinion please join in and let's all have some fun. Leave a joke or sarcastic or thoughtful or truly serious response when you check into the thread.
