AWWW, come on folks.

I went to a concert the other evening by the ROSE ENSEMBLE. They are a group of singers and musicians who perform all kinds of music, ancient to modern and from international sources. The concert was about music from the three major ABRAHAMIC faiths that originated in the middle east. One of the instruments in play that evening was an OUD. It is a pumpkin backed stringed instrument with a cranked neck and is the ancestor of the medieval lute. I was drawn to the instrument by the beautiful laying up of the elliptical shaped pieces of wood that made the back/belly of the instrument. After doing a GOOGLE for more information about the OUD I found that oud is an important ingredient in making a fragrance for men. The fragrance is made from the distilling of resin used by an agar tree to heal wounds from a beetle that attacks the tree, and further that the tree is on an endangered specie list and is one of the most expensive woods in the world.

DENNIS S: next time
ERIC: no need to duck and run but I have absolutely no knowledge of a Dr Who. I did turn the air cleaner to blow your way so if some dust shows up consider that I accept the possibility that you might have a point.
RAPID ROGER: NO DUST FOR YOU but I appreciate the response

Are you kidding??????? Dr. Who is the longest running series program ever on TV. I am sixty eight years old and I was watching Dr Who as a child. Use your Google fu and enjoy.

PAULGAUTHIER: Yes really, I have no idea about Dr Who. I've moved around a lot and have a pretty narrow list of TV programs to watch.
