I can't seem to find the article, but someone posted about the BEST choice for sandpaper. Seems that the mesh type won! I need to restock my 5" round sander paper and thought I would try the BEST! Any idea what it was?

I can't vouch for "the best", but my go to is Abranet™ abrasive mesh. I agree that it's superior to most sandpaper, it stays sharp longer and you don't need to line up the holes.

Doesn't the lack of holes defeat the dust collection function of the sander?

Hey Sean,

Abranet™ is an abrasive mesh, so the air passes easily through the entire surface, no need for holes.
