For those not familiar with the name, Esherick was one of the giants of American woodworking of the 20th century crafts period. The museum bearing his name hosts a themed competition each year in which woodworkers are invited to submit works around a specific object. Last year it was frames. Other years have included chairs, library ladders, and so on. This year's theme is "vessels" (as in objects that hold liquids). You can read the rules and entry guidelines here.

Entry deadline is July 1, so get to work!
