I purchased some 6" cardboard tubes to us as shipping containers years ago. Well I never used them. So when I discovered my Little gold mine
:D In my pile of ------- I decided to use these as screw and what ever holders. I just cut them at 45 degree angle and glue them up on some sheet goods..
I love them. It took about 20 min of time..
if you search uline.com you can find the tubes.

Nice project and idea. These types of tubes can be found at Lowes and Home Depot in the cement department, like 6", 8" and 10" diameters.

While they might not be big enough to hold much, I've gotten heavy cardboard tubes from a local carpet store. They often toss 'em in the trash so the price is right.

I happen to have a neighbor who works for Uline, so I sent this to her. They have a newsletter that has a non shipping uses column and she thought they might be interested.
